Neil began working life as a carpentry apprentice and shortly after being qualified, started a building business with a work colleague. A bad back resulted in the sale of his share of the business in 1997, which opened up an opportunity for a new venture.
Neil started Crewcut in Otago in 1999. Dunedin now has nine franchisees, Oamaru has three, and Palmerston and Waikouaiti area has one.
In addition North Otago has commercial Walker ride on mowers which cater for larger properties dairy farms and commercial properties.
Dunedin and Oamaru also have a regular green waste removal service providing 240ltr bins and 600ltr bags.
